Ingredients:

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1 pound fresh clams, scrubbed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Steam clams: In a large pot, steam clams until shells open. Discard any unopened clams.
  3. Make sauce: In the same pot, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with white wine. Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add clams and pasta: Add cooked clams and pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
