Recipe of Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 package spring roll wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup rice vermicelli noodles, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, scallions, cilantro, rice vermicelli noodles, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Assemble the spring rolls: Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll up tightly.
  3. Seal the spring rolls: Moisten the top corner of the wrapper with water and seal the roll completely.
  4. Fry the spring rolls: Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve: Serve the spring rolls immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
