Recipe of Cevapcici with Ajvar
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup ajvar (red pepper spread)
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 yellow squash, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
Instructions:
- Combine meat: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape cevapcici: Shape the meat mixture into small, cylindrical sausages about 2 inches long.
