Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make sauce: In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up any browned bits. Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine: Toss cooked pasta with shrimp and creamy sauce.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
